6-0

M and I woke up at 7 am to get ready for the game and we just couldn't get up so we set the alarm for another hour and sacrificed one hour of tailgating for a little extra sleeping time. We were in a rush getting out the door and we forgot such important things like BEER so we decided to just park at a meter, which means it was $34 CHEAPER to park than in a lot and walked into the tailgating lots to party with others. We met up with a couple of people I went to high school with and one that M went to high school with that are all in the same group. Chris Price, I came to look for you and say hi but Scott said you were walking around. Next time. We then met up with M's friend Loren and hung with their group for the majority of the morning. They were even so kind to give us a cup for their homemade brew, that had apricot in it. It was really good. Even though it's nice to tailgate with our own car and have our own things, it was fun to just walk in and not to be the prepared ones for once.

The Vikings got their 6th win in as many games today at the Dome against the Baltimore Ravens. Should the Vikings have won? I'm not sure, but they did so with luck on their side. The Vikings were up 14-0 early on in the game. It looked so easy the way they completed the plays for each drive down the field. The score was then 20-10, going into the 4th quarter. The Vikings got another touchdown and a field goal but the Ravens scored 21 points, taking the lead for the first time in the game with a handful of minutes left, 31-30. We scored another field goal to again take the lead, 33-30 with under two minutes remaining. The Ravens make their way down the field into their own territory and within field goal position. With seconds left on the clock and all of the Vikings fans on their way out the door, Chilly calls a time out to ice the kicker and then the Ravens kick and believe it or not, NO GOOD as the kick goes wide left. The dome erupted and it is just so hard to believe that we actually won that game. A win is a win, even if the Vikings end up giving you a heart attack in the process.
