Backyard Beauty

Last Sunday, around 5 pm, I had to take a walk out in the backyard.  It was snowing and it was beautiful.  I enjoyed walking all the way back to the pond, listening to the sizzle of the snow hit the power lines above, reminding me I'm still in the suburbs.  Not much to report here other than some photos that don't do my backyard excursion much justice, but I love how nature can rejuvenate you.

Today, January 30th, would have been my parent's 37th wedding anniversary.  You may not be together in this life anymore but I know you're still together and always will be, in spirit.
