Last week, M told me of Mankato Brewery having a contest to name one of their beers, an India Pale Ale.  A name came to mind right away for me and I submitted it along with another name. 

The brewery chose six finalists today and my name made the cut!  Voting will go through Thursday, February 28th and will be announced in March.

Remember when my family went out to dinner at Yarusso's in February?  They had a contest during that time to write a review of the restaurant on Google and if you let Yarusso's know that you wrote a review, you'd be entered into a drawing.  Well guess who won?  Me! What did I win?  A $50 gift certificate to the restaurant!

I'm going to take my parents and Michael for sure and maybe I can fit in an Italian grandpa as well.
